Milini® is a specific insecticide for pest control, formulated with spores produced by the microorganism Beauveria bassiana. Its mechanism of action is on the external integument (skin), producing a germ tube through physical and enzymatic action. This germ tube penetrates the cuticle, reaching the insect’s body cavity. Host death is caused by the action of the fungal toxins, the physical obstruction of blood circulation, and organ invasion. After the host’s death, hyphae emerge from the corpse, and under appropriate temperature and humidity conditions, conidia will be produced on the exterior of the host. It is applied by foliar spray.
